Biography
At 56, Harry Holcroft has travelled throughout the world. Over 20 Exhibitions on The Middle East, Russia, Europe, France, India, The Far East, Africa and the Amazon – in New York, Los Angeles, Provence and London – selling paintings of his journeys and published books, have brought him to major collectors’ attentions worldwide.

His book trilogy The Silk Route, Spice Route, and Slave Route are being followed by a major book of Rainforests of the world. His wonderful studio, overlooking the Luberon National Park in Provence, France, is where he creates the magic canvasses that lead one into the ‘lost worlds’ that have captured the imagination of many.

Over the last four years he has concentrated exlusively on studying and painting the world's rainforests. A major Exhibition on "Rainforests of the World" is scheduled for 2008 with the publication if a high quality informative book of his paintings and co-authored with Professor Sir Iain Prance, ex-Director of Kew Gardens, and a world authority on the environment.
